Update on my life

Hi everyone! It's Marzia! I just wanted to do an update on my life because a lot has changed. I have moved yet again! This might sound weird but they changed my mom's job again so here I am in California! Bye for now! Might start posting daily blogs again soon!

Sports and a Cold (WK. 8.3)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty good day. When I woke up I had some chocolate peanut butter pie which was supposed to be for our dinner party tonight but our friends got sick and my uncle's flight got canceled. :( After breakfast we hung around a little bit and then we went to watch my team play a soccer game. Luckily, I am getting my crutches off soon!:) My team ended up losing 4-3 but we got really unlucky and none of our shots went in! After that we went home and had some lunch. For lunch we had pasta with meat sauce. It was awesome! Then, we went to watch my team play another game! They won this time! YAY! After that we just hung around like all afternoon and my throat began to hurt. Next, we made some dinner. We had flounder, asparagus, and macaroni and cheese. After dinner I got ready for bed. I also think I am getting a cold or getting sick. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Valentines Day (WK 8.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a fun day. When I woke up I had heart shaped red velvet pancakes that my mom made. It turned out good! My parents also gave me junior mints and a blanket and pillow. It was awesome! After that we hung around until it was time for Francesco's soccer game. His team won. Then we had some barbeque and hot dogs. It was good. Next we went to go watch my soccer team play their game. My team won 10-0!!!! After my game we went home and made some dinner. For dinner we made gnocchi with Bolognese sauce. IT WAS AWESOME! After dinner we watched a show and made chocolate peanut butter pie since we have family coming tomorrow. Now I am getting ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Pizza Party (WK. 8)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty fun day. When I woke up I had some cereal. Then, I started to do schoolwork. Here is what I did today but you can skip it if you want.
Religion- finished my Christian song project
Social Studies- learned about William Shakespeare
Science- did a webquest about space
Math- took a quiz
Lunch- baked beans, blueberries, and goldfish
Literature- learned about main idea (more main idea:( )
Language Arts- worked on my online vocab and did a grammar packet.
Finally, school was done! I went outside and walked around a bit and then called my cousins (who are our neighbors) to play. My cousins are named Julia and Adrianna and they are twins that are 12. We hang around a lot. Anyway, we played around till dinnertime and then we went to go get pizza together! YAY! We had cheese pizza and it was really good. Then we went back home, exchanged Valentines Day gifts, watched Muppets Most Wanted, and ate cookie cake. That was fun! After, they had to leave and we got ready for bed. Bye for today! Frozen Me (WK. 7.7)

Hi everyone! Today was an okay day. When I woke up I had some eggs and bacon. It was good. Then, I went to the "classroom" and started my lessons. I was in the middle of some units because my mom programmed it so that I was working on my level. Here is what I did today but as I always say you can skip it if you want.
Religion- started a project on a Christian song
Social Studies- watched a video about Renaissance architecture since I starting to work on the Renaissance
Science- learned about the moon
Math- learned about math properties
Lunch- spaghetti with clams
Literature- learned about main idea
Language Arts- parsed sentences, diagrammed, and took a vocab placement quiz
Finally, school was done! YES! After school I had a snack and played on my MacBook. Then, I went to meet my new soccer team (all the girls on the team spoke only Italian, it was weird) and watch them practice. Obviously, I couldn't practice with them since I broke my knee and I was on crutches! I LITERALLY FROZE at their practice! I was an ice cube! It was so cold out today and they decided to have an outdoor practice!!! After I got frozen I went home and we had dinner. For dinner we had grouper (the fish) and broccoli. It was pretty good. Then we made Valentines Day cookie cakes that were shaped like hearts. They turned out really well! And they tasted good. After we baked those we got ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

First Day of Homeschooling (WK. 7.6)

Hi everyone! Or should I say ciao! Today was a pretty awesome day! When I woke up we had our first breakfast in our house. We had croissants with crème inside of them. They were good! Then for the rest of the morning we finished unpacking. By lunchtime we were done and our house turned out great!!! For lunch we had some sandwiches also known as paninis. My sandwich had mozzarella and tomatoes in it. After lunch Francesco and I went to the "classroom". The "classroom" is a room in our apartment that we homeschool in. Inside there is a SMART board, white board, couch, and 2 desks. It is actually pretty cool! Anyway, then we went to our desks and our mom told us what it would be like in the "classroom" and what the rules were. We are using an online school program but we also had to get books and stuff for it. Our mom got us macbooks so now we can do school on it! YAY! After we were done getting an introduction to our new "school" we went to the grocery store and got groceries! OBVIOUSLY! Next, we went home and made some dinner. For dinner we had chicken parmigiana that turned out AWESOME! Afterwards I skyped some friends in Virginia and then got ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

First Day In Italy (WK 7.5)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty cool day even though I slept HORRIBLY on the plane. When I woke up we were there and we got off the plane. We then stopped to get some breakfast. I had a croissant at this breakfast place in the airport. Next we left the airport with our car that had been shipped overseas. Isn't that cool? We drove a little bit until we got to our new apartment overlooking this beach. The movers were there and we unpacked boxes all morning. Then we had some lunch. For lunch we went to this amazing ice cream place called Mateoti (probably spelled that wrong). I had a brioche with zuppe englese and hazelnut. It was AMAZING!!!!!!! After lunch we walked around a bit and then went back to our house to unpack some more. We made pretty good time and got half of our house furnished. In our house we have a living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a laundry room, a classroom because we are going to be homeschooled from now on, 2 balconies, and more! By then it was dinner time so we went out and got a pizza. After pizza we went home and got ready for bed since we had our beds in our house now. Tomorrow I will start to be homeschooled and we will finish furnishing our house. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Moving Day (WK. 7.4)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty sad day! When I woke up I had a yogurt parfait for breakfast. Then, I went to school to get all my books and say goodbye to all my amazing friends and teachers! I would like to recognize Katherine, Grace, Miling, Gregory, Anne, Elaine, Christine, Megan, Lynn, Kira, Elizabeth, Suzanne, and Joy for being my amazing friends! Thank you guys! And I would like to thank my teachers! So after I said goodbye and stuff I headed to the hotel and had some grilled cheese. Then, we checked out of the hotel and headed to the airport to move. :( We went through security and stuff and then we boarded the plane. I am writing this on the plane right now since I have to sleep on the plane! :( For dinner I had chicken BTW. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Packing Up (WK. 7.3)

Hi everyone! Today was an interesting day....When I woke up I had nutella crepes. They were good! Then I tried to help my family as much as I could with crutches to pack up. We had to finish boxing up the rest of our furniture for our move to Italy. We packed up like all morning and then we had some lunch. For lunch we had some tacos! YUM! I had a taco with melted cheese and beef. Then, I wanted to go watch my soccer team one more time so I went to watch! Obviously, I had to sit out but they won 5-3! After that we finalized the closings and bla bla bla of our house and we went to a hotel nearby for the night. Somebody new would be moving into our house tomorrow since we already sold our house. After we got to the hotel we went to our favorite Italian restaurant one last time and I got pizza. Then, we headed back to the hotel and right now we are getting ready to go to bed. Bye for today! Pizza Night (WK. 7.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a decent day. When I woke up I had a nutella croissant and I went to Francesco's game. His team lost but they were having a bad day so...It was awkward sitting on the sidelines because everyone was staring at me and my crutches...Anyway, after his game we went back home and watched part of a soccer game for a little while. Then we had a really early lunch which was a peanut butter sandwich and some apples. It was pretty good. Next, we went to Francesco's soccer. His team did win luckily! After we shopped at Target and bought some Valentines stuff before my soccer game. I just went to cheer on my team but obviously I was on the sidelines. And it was REALLY annoying because everyone was like, "OMG! What happened?!". SO ANNOYING! Anyway, after we went back home and got changed because we were going to my dad's friend's house for dinner. It was fun! We watched the Juventus vs. Milan game and Juve won!!! YAY! Then we had pizza and an oreo ice cream cake. IT WAS AMAZING! Finally, before we left we watched Freaky Friday and I lost a tooth! YAY! It was my last tooth to lose on my bottom row and luckily I wasn't getting my bottom braces until Monday so I didn't lose a tooth with a bracket on it. By then we had to leave. When we got home it was late and I started getting ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

An Awful Day (WK. 7)

Hi everyone! Today was an AWFUL day, literally, it couldn't get any worse!!!!! When I woke up I had some oatmeal. Then I headed to the orthodontist to get my braces on. It really hurt and I got aqua and lime green bands. That took until lunchtime so afterwards we got a Chickfila sandwich and a cookies and cream milkshake! That was good at least....After I was going to go to school for the afternoon but on the way in to school I tripped on the steps! It hurt SOOOOOOOOOO bad and at first my mom thought it was nothing and she told me to get up. I still couldn't get up because when I fell I heard my knee pop and bend in an awkward position. My mom carried me inside where I got some ice. Then, I went to Urgent Care because by then it started swelling up big time! At the Urgent Care they told me that I had broke my knee! I got a brace and crutches! :( I have to be on crutches for 4 weeks!!!!! That's awful! After that I decided to go to my basketball game that I was supposed to play in! :( I had to watch from the bench and handle the throbbing in my knee! After my game I got some macaroni and cheese. And then hung out and practiced walking on crutches until bedtime. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Flying Home (WK. 6.6)

Hi everyone! Today was an okayish day but sadly we had to leave! When we woke up we checked out and headed to the airport. On the way to the airport we stopped at Bojangle's and got biscuits with eggs and bacon in them. That was good. Then we went to the airport and boarded our plane. We read magazines and books until we arrived home! Once we were home we unpacked and ate lunch. For lunch we had grilled cheese sandwiches. We also had some frozen yogurt. It was good! Then, all afternoon we just hung around until 3. At 3 we went roller skating since we were bored and we wanted to do something. We roller skated until 4:30. After roller skating we went back home and baked some brownies with oreos in them. They turned out really good! Next, we made some dinner. For dinner we had escarole stuffed pizza. It was good and then we had the brownies for dessert. Now I am just packing up some moving boxes and about to go to bed! Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Another Awesome Day and My Real Name (WK. 6.6)

Hi everyone! As you can see from the title today was another awesome day! When I woke up we went to Miraloma Café which is a restaurant in Anaheim. I got some French toast. Then we went back to Disneyland and rode AWESOME rides until lunchtime. My favorite ride I rode this morning was the California Screamin'. It was amazing! Then we got some lunch. We ate at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. It was really good! I got the kid's cheese pizza. After lunch we did a lot of different things. First, we did this Captain America thing. Next, we watched a special extended sneak peek of Cinderella. That was cool. Third, we watched the Mickey's Soundsational Parade which is everyday at 4. By then it was 4 so we rode rides until dinner. For dinner we went to Disney's PCH Grill. It was really good and I ate the seared tuna with soy and ginger. For dessert we got the Cookies and Cream Sandcastle. It was AWESOME! After dinner we had to head back to the hotel and sadly pack up. I don't want to leave tomorrow but I will survive. We will go back to Mclean, VA tomorrow but I will still miss Friday from school because I am getting my braces on! Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Disneyland (WK. 6.5)

Hi everyone! Today was an awesome day! We woke up really early, checked out of our hotel, and went to the airport. I had a croissant at the airport. Then, we boarded the plane and left for Disneyland! YAY! A little while later we got there. When we got there we took a bus to the Disneyland Hotel, where we would be staying. We then unpacked and went to grab some lunch/ go to the amusement park! We ate lunch at Goofy's Kitchen and I got the chicken nuggets. They were good. Next, we went to the Disneyland park and rode rides all afternoon! It was sooooooo fun and it stinks that on Thursday we have to leave! So around 6:00 we stopped riding rides and got some dinner. We then went to the Blue Bayou restaurant and I ate the Mickey's cheesy macaroni. It was good! After we were kind of tired so we headed back. Now I am getting ready for bed! Bye for today! Grand Canyon, Announcement, and more! (WK. 6.4)

Hi everyone! Today was an awesome day because while all my classmates (minus Grace) were slaving away at their schoolwork I was in Phoenix! I am staying at this really cool hotel called the Royal Palms Resort and Spa! It is AWESOME! Anyway, when I woke up my family and Grace's family met up at IHop for breakfast. I had a blueberry pancake! After breakfast we went to the Grand Canyon! YAY! We did some hiking, went to the visitor's center, went to Kolb studio, and then last but not least went to the Tusayan Museum and Ruins. We had a blast! Then we went to lunch at In and Out Burger! It was so cool and good! After lunch we went to the Desert Botanical Garden. It was really cool to see the outdoor exhibits. Next, we went to the Phoenix Zoo. I loved seeing all the animals! Surprisingly, by then it was dinner time! For dinner we went to a place called Steak 44 with Grace and her family. I loved the food there so much! At Steak 44 I got the NY strip with a side of fries. After that we went to Coldstone for some ice cream! What a great end to our day! Tomorrow we are packing up and heading to Disneyland! OMG! YAY! So excited! I am going to miss the whole week of school this week, BTW! Sadly, my last day of school in Mclean, VA is next Monday!!!!:( I decided to keep this a secret until now, but I have huge news! For a long time I have known this but my mom had a job change which means I have to move! I have to move to....wait for it....Italy!! I am kind of nervous about moving there next week, but I can do it! For those of you who are wondering, I am moving to a city called Reggio Calabria, Italy! At least I'll be closer to my family....Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but then my family moved to Miami, FL when I was 2. I lived in Miami until I was 6 when I moved to Plano, TX. I lived in Plano until I was 8. I then moved to Mclean, VA where I live now (well, I live in Mclean till next Tuesday) I know I have moved A LOT!

Superbowl and a Long Day (WK 6.3)

Hi everyone! Today was an awesome day and a long one! When I woke up I had half a blueberry muffin and then my family went to the airport. I have a huge announcement! Today I went to Phoenix and got to see the Super Bowl!!!! It was awesome. So we were going to fly out yesterday but then we found a cheaper flight early this morning so that's what we did. The airplane ride felt long, but then finally we were there! YAY! When we got there we ate lunch at Pane Bianco which is a sandwich place. It was good and I had the market sandwich. After lunch we went to our hotel, checked in, and unpacked. That took some time so we relaxed in the hotel and took a nap until around 4:30. We then headed to the stadium and met Grace's family outside where we tailgated. It was so awesome that Grace was there! We had some Bojangle's chicken and biscuits. After it was time to go inside and get in our seats. Yay! It was so fun to watch the game and see Katy Perry at halftime!!! I was sad that the Patriots won since I was cheering for Seattle, but I still had an amazing night! After the game we went back to the hotel and got ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!
