Haircuts and Sports (WK. 6.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty fun day! When I woke up I had a mini blueberry muffin. It was good. Then we went to Alex's basketball game. His team tied. Next, we went back home and had some egg whites. We also sadly had to say goodbye to all my family because they had to leave! :( After they left we went to our indoor soccer games. First Alex had his and then Grace and I went to Charming Charlie's. I got a set of ocean themed earrings. Then, it was time for my game! I won! YAY! After we went back home and relaxed until it was time for our haircuts. I just got a little trim because I am growing out my hair. It looked great! Then we went home and played outside with Joy and Katherine. That was fun! By then it was like 5:45 so they left and we watched a little TV. A couple minutes later we had sandwiches. They were good. We also finished off the last of the cake. After we ate we watched Muppets: Most Wanted and then got ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Surprise Party (WK. 6)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty awesome day! It was also favorite sports team day so I wore my soccer jersey. When I woke up I had a piece of toast with peanut butter on it. It was good! Then, I went to school. Here is what I did at school today but as I always say you can skip it if you want.
Literature- discussion questions and we read a couple of chapters
Language Arts- edited our persuasive paragraphs more
Science- finished our astronomers worksheets
Math- learned more about coordinate planes
Lunch- soup, strawberries, and a croissant
Religion- learned about Nicodemus
Social Studies- reviewed stuff
PE- played across the ocean and talked about heart disease
Finally, school was over and it was time to go home! When I got home I started working with my mom to put up decorations. Today my aunt was coming and we were going to surprise her with a party. She thought we were just going out to a restaurant but really, we made a huge meal and my grandpa, other aunt, cousin, and uncle came! After decorating I played outside a little bit and worked on my German. Then, she came! She was sooo surprised! We then ate dinner. For dinner there was filet mignon, potatoes, shrimp scampi, asparagus, mushrooms, bread, and stuffed peppers. The food was good! Then we had dessert which was the cake we made and some ice cream! It was REALLY good! After I facetimed some of my friends and then got ready for bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Mismatch Day (WK. 5.7)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty cool day since it was mismatch day! When I woke up I had some oatmeal with strawberries in it. It was good. Then, I went to school. Here is what I did at school today but you can skip it if you want.
Literature- read chapters and added an event to our timelines
Language Arts- edited our essays
Science- learned about different astronomers
Math- learned about coordinate planes
Lunch- pizza and strawberries
Religion- made a birthday card for someone at our school and learned more about Jesus' disciples
Social Studies- learned about Italy's city- states
Drama- went over more scenes in our play
Finally, school was over and I could go home! I was supposed to go to basketball practice today but I was missing it since I had to turn in a picture for my soccer card. We drove to the place and then went back home. Alex's friend, Jack was here so we made giant chocolate chip cookies. After we made cookies we ate dinner with Jack at our house. We had a bowl of pasta. Then, we decorated my Aunt's cake. It looked great! By then it was late and Jack's mom and sister, Christy, who is in  my class came to pick him up. Dress your Best Day (WK. 5.6)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty cool day since it was dress your best day. I wore a black and white floral dress and I curled my hair. When I woke up I had a croissant and then went to school. Here is what I did at school today but you can skip it if you want.

Finally, school was done! After school I went to piano. Today at piano I got an extra large Hershey's bar. Next, I went home and changed because we were about to go to our favorite Italian restaurant, Rocco's Italian. At the restaurant I got a cheese pizza. I only ate half of it so that will be my lunch tomorrow! BTW we usually go every Friday so if you want to meet me there just ask the hostess if Jennifer, Alex, Arianna (mom), and Mario (dad) are coming (we know the owner).  After dinner I went to confirmation. Pajama Day (WK. 5.5)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty awesome and cozy day! When I woke up I didn't have to change because it was pajama day! YAY! I didn't have breakfast either because on Pajama Day if you go to the gym early you can get a donut. So then I went to school and had a glazed donut. Next, I started my actual school day. Here is what I did in school today but you can skip it if you want.
Literature- enrichment day
Language Arts- greek root test and filled out our outlines for persuasive paragraphs
Science- test
Math- learned about bar notations
Lunch- kidney beans, carrots, almonds, and a fruit cup
Religion- learned about God's disciples
Social Studies- free period!
Drama- went over more scenes
Finally, school was over! Grace, my friend Gregory, and I had to hang out after school a little bit because our basketball game wasn't until 5. We had snacks and played on the computer until 4. At 4 we left to go the other school and have our game! We won our game 16-20 and I got to start! I almost scored a couple of times! After the game Grace and I went to Alex and her brother's soccer practice. We had to watch them and then I went home. At home I had seafood lasagna, strawberries, and a piece of sponge cake. Crazy Hair Day (WK. 5.4)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty cool day because this week at school is National Lutheran's School week where we get to dress up differently every day. Today was crazy hair day so I teased my hair like an 80's girl! When I woke up I had blueberry belvita cookies. They were good. Then, I went to school. Here is what we did at school today but you can skip it if you like.
Literature- read, did a mindbender, and added an event to our book timelines
Language Arts- worked on our thesis and topic sentences for our persuasive paragraph
Science- played a review game because our test is tomorrow
Math- took a quiz and learned about rational numbers
Lunch- ants on a log. yogurt, blueberries, and granola bar
Religion- wrote about how we feel going to a Lutheran school
Social Studies- learned about supply and demand
Drama- went over scene 2-3
Finally, school was over and it was time for my basketball game. We sadly lost but I got to shoot 2 free throw (I missed). After the game we went home and ate dinner which was seafood lasagna. It was good. Then Alex and my mom went to basketball practice while I watched youtube. A little while later it was time for my soccer practice. It was really fun and we played soccer tennis. Daddy Daughter Day (WK. 5.3)

Hi everyone! Today was an awesome day! When I woke up I had a croissant. Then, Alex and my mom went to church because Alex was singing in choir. While they were at church I got ready for soccer and then left with my dad. My game was AWESOME! We won 8-1 and I assisted 3 or 4 goals. After my game my dad and I went to a restaurant that had dim sum. Dim sum is basically a type of Chinese food where they constantly bring you food. It was really good and I was full! Though I did have room for ice cream! My dad and I went to goodberry's and I got a vanilla with Oreo and hot fudge milkshake. Next, we went home and took a walk. We walked a mile around the lake and then returned home. When we got home Joy came over and we played. We did makeovers, watched YouTube, and played soccer outside. It was fun. Then Joy left and my mom went to Lifetime Fitness. While she was gone Alex and I watched videos and did a workout. BTW Alex came home around 3 from his "Mommy Son Day". After our workout I had a bite of soup and then got ready for bed. I am about to go to bed right now! Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Sports Morning (WK. 5.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty good day. When I woke up I had a croissant which was amazing since I love croissants! Then, we got ready because Alex had a basketball game. His team sadly lost their game, but not by much and they did a good job! Next, we went straight to Alex's indoor 3 v. 3 soccer game. His team lost there too. After, we went with Grace and her brother to Tijuana Flats for lunch. I had macaroni and cheese with a side of apple sauce. It tasted okay but it wasn't amazing.. Then, we had to go to my 3 v. 3 indoor soccer game. It was fun and my team tied! I also scored a goal. Next, we went back home and hung out while my mom went to the grocery store. After she got back Joy and Katherine called and they came over. We played until dinner time and then we found out we got to have dinner together! YAY! We had salmon, salad, and couscous. It was really good! Especially the salad...Next, we went upstairs and played fashion show. It was fun! After playing fashion show we did fitness/ gymnastics. It was really fun and we worked out a lot! We had to wrap up stuff that hurt so I wrapped up my ankle and had to wear a boot. It was sprained I think... Sadly, around 10 they had to go home! Girl's Night Out (WK. 5)

HI everyone! Today was a pretty awesome day because as you can see from the title, I went on a girl's night out! When I woke up I had toast with peanut butter on it. Next, I went to school. Here is what I did in school today but as I always say you can skip it if you want.
Literature- read some chapters in our book
Language Arts- figured out our topic for our persuasive essays and found our supporting details
Science- reviewed study guide and played atmosphere bingo
Math- compared  integers
Lunch- pizza and pears
Religion- worked on our posters for church
Social Studies- test day! I think I did good though...
PE- dodge ball! :)
Finally, school was done and it was time to go home. My mom picked me up from school today and took me home where Alex and my dad were. Alex didn't go to school today because his stomach hurt badly. When we got home my dad ran some errands while Alex, my mom, and I watched an episode of American Idol on demand. Then, my dad came home and it was time for my mom and me to go on our Girl's night out! YAY! We first drove to the mall and ate a delicious dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. We got some fresh summer rolls as an appetizer and for our main meal my mom got a salad and I got the kids chicken sliders. It was good! But I can't leave out the best part of dinner (well, the best part was being with my mom but I mean foodwise) the cheesecake! My mom and I shared the oreo dream extreme cheesecake and it was AMAZING! After we ate we went shopping! Our first stop was Hollister where I got 2 shirts and some jeans. Then, we went to Bath and Body Works. There we got some lotions and shower gels. Next, we went to Aeropostale where we got matching pajamas, a headband for me, 2 shirts for me, and a pair of shoes. Finally, we went to American Eagle where I got some AWESOME Aztec/ tribal leggings. Sadly, we then had to leave. We drove home and then with Alex and my dad we watched Aquamarine. Now I am in my new pajamas and about to go to bed! I had such an amazing time spending time with my amazing mom! Love you mommy! Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Hi everyone! Today was a decent day. When I woke up I had honey nut cheerios, again! Then, I went to school. Here is what I did at school today but you can skip it if you want. (That's what I always say) Literature- started our main event timeline and did questions
Language Arts- played a matching game with our greek roots again and did a agree/disagree activity
Science- continued learning about air pollution and completed our study guides
Math- learned about opposites and absolute something
Lunch- ravioli, fruit cup, and peanut butter granola bar
Religion- worked on a poster about serving others for next week
Social Studies- reviewed our study guides and played a review game outside
Elective- went over scene 1 and 2
Finally, school was over and it was time for basketball practice. At basketball practice we worked on boxing out and we went over our plays. After practice I went home, did my homework, and ate some chips. Then, I hung out on my laptop until my mom came home. As soon as my mom came home we went to our favorite Italian restaurant and got pizza. We also ate with our friends. Language Arts- graded our diagramming tests and played a word sort with our greek roots

Interesting Day (WK 4.5)

Hi everyone! Today was an interesting day as you can see from the title. When I woke up I had some honey nut cheerios. I love honey nut cheerios! After breakfast I went to school. Today we were going to have a little field trip because it was moving up day for the fifth graders and they wanted the middle school students to go somewhere. We spent the morning at Lifetime Fitness, swimming and rock climbing. When we were done at Lifetime we went back to school. We played in the gym until lunch time. Then, it was lunchtime. I had ravioli, raspberries, blueberries, peanut butter crackers, and Katherine gave everyone a vanilla cupcake. The cupcake was really good! After lunch I had religion, social studies, and then my new elective, drama! We got our scripts and our roles. I am fairy 2 in this fairy tale play. After school was done I went to basketball practice. Today at practice we were scrimmaging a team. We lost but I scored a basket! Next, I went home and my dad started making an early dinner because Alex had soccer. My dad made pasta. I had to go to Alex's soccer and we took his friend with him. At Alex's soccer I got to help out. Then, we dropped Alex's friend off and went home. I got ready for bed and now here I am typing this. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

A Day Off (WK. 4.4)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty nice day since I was off school. When I woke up I ate a banana bread belvita that was pretty good. Next, Alex and I went upstairs and played until lunchtime. For lunch we had our leftover food from last night's dinner. Then, we went and ran some errands. First, we went to REI. I got a red north face jacket that is AWESOME! Next, we went to Staples to pick up some envelopes. That didn't take to long. Then, we went to the grocery store and got the ingredients for dinner tonight. Alex and I were planning on making chicken enchiladas using Laura Vitale's recipe. After the grocery store we returned home. At home we roller skated outside for a little bit and then went inside to make the enchiladas. After our enchiladas were in the oven we helped Katherine and Joy sell Girl Scout cookies (I did girl scouts last year) and we played basketball together. We only got to play for a little bit because then my mom came home and we ate the enchiladas. They turned out really good except next time instead of enchilada sauce I am going to use tomato sauce since it was a tiny bit spicy. After we ate Alex went to basketball practice and I went to soccer. Tonight at soccer we scrimmaged the whole time and it was fun. When I got home I completely forgot about my blog so I have to type this quick even though its late and I need to go to bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Cheerleading (WK. 4.3)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty awesome day even though we had to leave Arlington. :( When I woke up I didn't really eat breakfast, instead my family went to get brunch around eleven. I got a biscuit with egg and bacon in it. It wasn't that good and I only took like 2 bites of it... Anyway, after that we went back to the tournament. Even though we're out of the tournament we went to watch the championships for the girls first. The girl's team that we were cheering for won and it was good. Then, it was time for the boy's championships! YAY! My school's boy team was in the championship! I did some cheerleading at the game and it was fun. The boys won the game but this tournament was a double elimination tournament and the other team hadn't lost yet so that meant the boys had to play that team AGAIN! I still did some cheerleading at the second game but sadly they lost! :( At least they came in second! After the games we had to drive back home. :( I didn't want to leave but we had to. On the way back home we stopped at this AMAZING Vietnamese restaurant and got dinner. It was SOOOOOOO good! I got fried rice with chicken and it was huge! Alex and I both brought home some of our food in a box since we couldn't finish! So, then we drove back home and unpacked. Now I am in my room typing this and then I am going to bed! Bye for today! Out of the Tournament (WK. 4.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty fun day. When I first woke up my family and I went to a place like Panera Bread and got breakfast. I had a blueberry muffin. Next, we went to my basketball game. Sadly, we lost and we are out of the tournament for good. We also came in last place! :( After our game we went to Highway 55 and go5 milkshakes. I got a cookies and cream milkshake with hotfudge. It was amazing!!! Then we went to watch our school's boy team. They played two games and are going to the championships! YAY! I also got to cheer for them and do back handsprings! THAT was fun! After the boy's game we went to a team dinner. We got Mexican food. It was okay..I got a cheese quesadilla with rice on the side. Next we went to the pool with my friends and swam. The Basketball Tournament (WK. 4)

Hi everyone! Today was an awesome day! When I woke up I had a banana bread belvita. It was good. Then, I went to school. At school it was a half day so the whole middle school did this science and math activity where we had to build an invention. We were in teams and the best team's invention won a pound of chocolate. Building the invention was fun and in the middle I auditioned for my school drama play, My audition went good. My team didn't win the chocolate bar but it was okay. Anyway, after that activity we had an assembly. This bird guy came and talked about birds. It was kind of boring. Next, I got picked up from school and went home. At home I ate lunch which was eggs and bacon and then packed my bag for Arlington. After lunch my family went to Arlington. The trip was kind of boring but eventually we arrived. First, we got some pizza with my family, my aunts and uncles, and Grace's family. The pizza was good and finally it was time for our game. We lost our game sadly but I was still really happy since I got a three pointer!!!!! I was so shocked! After the game I went to my Aunt's house and got ready for bed. Today was a fun day and I can't wait for tomorrow when we have more basketball games. We still have a chance to win our tournament though but we can't lose another game. Bye for today! Another Delay (WK. 3.7)

Hi everyone! Today was another short day due to a delay! YAY! When I woke up I ate some honey nut cheerios. Then I hung out until it was time for school. Here is what I did at school but you can skip it if you want.

Finally, school was done! I then went to basketball practice. We prepared for our tournament this weekend which is in Airlington, VA so that is close to my house. BTW I live in Mclean, VA near Tyson's Corner. I didn't realize till now that spell check changed the name of where I live from Mclean to Mecklenburg. I live in Mclean but spell check messed it up. If you look at Hockey WK 2.3 you will see it says Mecklenburg. Silly me, not realizing that spell check. Anyway, after basketball I came home and did my homework. Then my mom came home and we made dinner and ate it. We had penne a la vodka which is like pasta with sausage and this sauce. It was SOOOOO good! Then we had peanut butter balls and watched American Idol. The judges didn't do very good tonight because they put through people who stunk. Anyway, tomorrow we have a half day and it is going to be fun! I am now going to go to bed! Bye for now! See you tomorrow!

A Short School Day (WK. 3.6)

Hi everyone! Today was awesome because school felt so short! When I woke up I had crescent rolls with peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.  It was really good! Then I just hung around until it was time for school. School felt so short today because the 2 hour delay and each class was only 33 minutes. Here is what I did in school today but if you want you can skip it.
Chapel
Literature- started Crispin: The Cross of Lead
Science- learned about the layers of the atmosphere
Lunch- Already, weird. That's what happens on 2 hour delays. I had a bagel, blueberries, tomatoes, and peanut butter crackers

Study Hall- studied, duh!
Social Studies- learned about King Henry the second
Finally, school was done! I went to piano and then went home. As soon as I got home I started making dinner. I made meatloaf. After the meatloaf was done my mom came home and we ate meatloaf, potatoes, and carrots. Then, I had to go to confirmation. It was okay. Next, I went home and hung around. I also dipped strawberries in fondue. Now I am hanging out because I get to stay up late again! 2 hour delay tomorrow too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Amazing Basketball Game (WK. 3.5)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty cool day. When I woke up I had honey nut cheerios! I love honey nut cheerios... Then, I went to school. Here is what I did in school today but as I ALWAYS say, you can skip it if you want. What I did:

Math- online game with coordinate planes
Language Arts- adverb test and we graded last night's homework

Finally, school was done and it was time for my basketball game. Yay! Our basketball game went REALLY well. I almost scored and we won! Even though the team we played is really good. After the game, my family and Grace's family went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant. It was good. I had a pizza. We got to play outside some and we thought we would have to go home to get ready for school but we found out we had a delay! Yay! We got ice cream to celebrate. I had Donatella flavored ice cream. Then, after our ice cream we went home. I did my homework and now here I am doing my homework. I am so glad I have a delay tomorrow because I want to sleep in! That's all for today! Bye for now! Another Busy Week (WK. 3.4)

Hi everyone! Today was just a boring old normal Monday. When I woke up I had a banana bread belvita for breakfast. Then, I went to school. School wasn't too interesting today. Here is what I did today but as I always say, you can skip it if you want.
Literature- mindbenders and learned about plot
Science- presented our natural disasters websites
Math- online integers game
Language Arts- graded something and parsed
Lunch- mini bagel, granola bar, and 2 Hershey kisses. I had a fruit cup but I think it got stolen
Religion- lesson on John the Baptist
Social Studies- worked on our family shields and talked about castles
Elective- proofread our stories
Finally, school was done! I usually have basketball practice after but it was canceled today. My dad picked Alex and me up and we went home. At home I had some yogurt and peanut butter crackers. It was good. Then I did my homework and practiced piano. By then it was time for Alex to get ready for basketball. My mom came home and picked him up. After they went to basketball practice my dad and I made dinner. We had swordfish and broccoli. It was pretty good. Then, I went to 3 v. 3 soccer practice. Today we worked on possession. Fun Soccer Game (WK. 3.3)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty fun day! I woke up and ate a banana bread belvita. Then, I got ready to go to Dick's Sporting Goods because I needed indoor soccer shoes for my indoor soccer game that day. Next, we went back home. We were supposed to eat lunch with my dad but he had to go back to Dick's since the shoes we got were both left foot shoes and they were different sizes. While my dad was gone exchanging those Alex and I ate lunch. We had half a bagel with egg in it. It was good! After we ate lunch my dad was back and he ate lunch. Then Alex went to Joy and Katherine's house to play while I went to my soccer game. My soccer game was SOOOOOOOO fun! I met my new team, I scored, and we won 9-0! It was pretty awesome! After the game was done we returned home, picked up Alex, and went to Target. I needed some new socks and a new footie pajama. I got some rainbow socks and a cow footie pajama. We also got some groceries. By then it was around 5:45 so we went home. My mom started making dinner and I went on pinterest. My pinterest is Jennifer Eaton by the way. A little while later dinner was ready! We had shrimp tacos. For desert we dipped strawberries in chocolate fondue. It was funny because everyone else was dipping strawberries in and eating the strawberry while I was using a spoon to eat the chocolate. The Busy Day (WK. 3.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty busy day even though it was fun and it was my half birthday today, officially 11 and a half! I woke up at Miling's house since I was sleeping over. I had a waffle and strawberries for breakfast. Then, I packed up and my mom picked me up. Next, I had to go to Alex's indoor 3 v 3 game. His team won. After, we went to Which Wich for a quick lunch before my indoor soccer game. I got a grilled cheese sandwich which was pretty good. When we were done eating lunch we went back to soccer for my game. I won my game and scored four goals! Then, we went home and took down our Christmas tree and other decorations. It was sad! :( Next, my neighbors called so we went to play with them. Their names are Jacob and Elizabeth. It was fun! We played the wii, played the Hunger Games outside, and played Scene It.  Around 5:00ish we left because we had to get ready for a birthday dinner. It was our Godparent's son, Ben's 30th birthday! We went out to our favorite Italian restaurant to celebrate. I ordered chicken parmigiana and it was really good! It was my first time trying chicken parm. Then, we had chocolate cake and Ben opened his presents. Alex and I also got target giftcards as late Christmas presents. When we were done eating we chatted for a while and then we went home around 9. Now I am at my laptop typing today's blog. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Sleepover (WK. 3)

Hi everyone! As I told you yesterday, I was at a sleepover and today's blog was going to be late. So here goes. When I woke up I got ready for school and ate a croissant! Then, I went to school. Here is what I did at school but as I ALWAYS say, you can skip this if you want.
Literature: we made I am poems
Science- some experiments
Math- percent test
Language Arts- graded our parsing and diagramming, then did more parsing and diagramming
Lunch- baked beans, chips, carrots, and a fruit cup
Religion- baptism quiz
Social Studies- made family crests/shields
PE- badminton
Finally, school was over and I could go to Miling's birthday part with Grace and Katherine! We went home with Miling and went to get our nails done. I got an orange color. Then, we went to an Asian restaurant and I got lo mein. Next, we got ice cream at Coldstone! It was so good1 I got the birthday cake remix! When we were done eating we went to Miling's house and watched movies/chatted until we fell asleep! BTW Miling opened her present and it was owl slippers and a makeup set. Bye for today! The New Car! (WK. 2.7)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty cool day even though I am writing this blog late and I need to make it quick so I can go to bed. When I woke up I had a croissant because I LOVE croissants! Then, I went to school. Here is what I did at school but as I always say you can skip it if you want. What I did:
Literature- more pre-writing activities for our book we are starting soon
Science- we took notes on Air Pressure
Math- review on percents since we have a test tomorrow
Language Arts- parsed and diagrammed sentences and wrote out greek roots
Lunch- pizza and a salad!
Religion- baptism stuff
Social Studies- learned about hierarchy and feudarchy
Elective- we wrote a story about our special place
Then, I had a basketball game! It was awesome because we won and I got a free throw! I like rarely score because I stink at basketball so this was pretty cool! After our game was over my dad said we were getting a new car! I was really surprised! We then went home and had a snack (yogurt and a granola bar). Next, my mom came home and we went to get the car. It is a Porsche. Then, we went to a Mexican restaurant. It was good and I had beef tacos with grilled veggies on the side. Next stop: Ulta to get my friend a birthday present. I got her a makeup set and we also had bought some owl slippers for her a couple weeks ago. After Ulta we went to get ice cream! Yum! I had vanilla with oreos and hot fudge. OMG! So good! When we got home we watched American Idol and I'm about to go to sleep. Just wanted to go ahead and say that tomorrow's blog will be posted on Saturday because I have a sleepover that I will tell you about on Sunday! Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

American Idol (WK. 2.6)

Hi everyone! Today was an interesting day.. When I woke up I had a croissant. Then, I went to school. Here is what I did at school today, but as I said yesterday you can skip this part if you want to. What I did:
Chapel/Mass- we just did normal church stuff
Literature: pre-reading stuff since we are starting Crispin: The Cross of Lead soon
Science: we checked our homework and watched videos about air pressure
Language Arts: We parsed sentences and did a greek root thing
Lunch: I had half a bagel with egg in it, a fruit cup, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots
Math: MORE percent stuff :(
Study Hall: Study obviously
Social Studies: Learn about Charlemagne and William the Conqueror
Then I went to piano lessons! I started playing Fur Elise finally! When Alex and I were done with lessons we went home. Alex left to go to soccer tryouts and I had a snack. For snack I had yogurt, chips, and chocolate covered pretzels. My mom then came home and we made dinner and watched Family Feud. After, my dad and Alex came home so we ate. We had ham with pineapple, kale, and black eyed peas. It was good! Next we watched American Idol. It was good even though there were only auditions. Now I am going to bed and my mom is making me take a shower. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

What did I get? (WK. 2.5)

Hi everyone! Today the befana came! When I woke up I saw that she brought me a video camera case and a SD card. Alex got a remote control helicopter. It was AWESOME! Then, I ate breakfast (banana bread) and went to school. Here is what I did at school today but you can skip this if you want:
Literature- study hall
Science- learn about the atmosphere and take notes
Math- more percent stuff
Language Arts- adverb stuff and greek root stuff
Lunch- I had baked beans, cucumbers, fruit cup, and peanut butter crackers
Religion- baptism stuff
Social Studies- we learned about the Western Rome church and did a little project
Elective- we read a play
After school was done my mom took me to my basketball game with my friends Gregory (she is a girl) and Grace. Our basketball game went well and we won! When our game was done we headed over to Alex's soccer. On our way Grace and I stopped at Bojangle's and got dinner. I got a biscuit with eggs and bacon! Yum! When Alex was at soccer Grace and I ate our dinner and played on her ipad. Finally, Alex was done and Grace left with her dad and brother (who plays soccer with Alex). On our way home we got Alex dinner at Chickfila and we got a cookies and cream milkshake to share. We split and ate the milkshake when we got home! It was delicious. BTW Alex also ate his dinner. Back to Reality (WK. 2.4)

Hi everyone! I bet from the title you can guess what happened today. I went back to school after 2 weeks of break! It was pretty hard but I survived. I had to wake up at 7:30 and have a banana bread belvita again. Then, I got ready and went to school. School was okay. I will put below what I did in school today but if you are like me and think it is boring you can skip my list of what we did today.
What I did today:
Literature: this thing called mindbenders and a vocabulary thing
Science: We finished our websites we were making on natural disasters
Math: Learned percentage stuff
Language Arts: We graded a paper, talked about Christmas break, and did adverb stuff
Lunch break! I had tofu with peanut butter crackers, carrots, and a fruit cup
Religion: We learned about baptism
Social Studies: We did mosaics from the Byzantine Empire
Elective: I do creative writing so we wrote obviously!
Then, school was over! :) I grabbed my basketball bag and went to the gym for basketball practice from 3:30- 5:00. In basketball we worked on our plays since our team hadn't met up in 2 weeks. Next, my dad and Alex picked me up. We drove to my mom's office to drop off something and then headed home. When we got home I did my homework and we ordered pizza. Alex went to basketball practice around 6. My dad and I picked up the pizza, went home, and then ate some of it. We saved the rest for Alex and my mom who would eat their share when they got back from basketball practice. After I ate my pizza I went to indoor soccer. The theme at soccer tonight was skills/ball moves. It was pretty fun! Next, I went home and prepared for bed since tomorrow I have school tomorrow and the Befana is coming tonight! For those of you who don't know who the Befana is, it is an Italian tradition. The Befana is like another Santa Clause but she only brings you one gift. I wonder what I will get??? Look at tomorrow's blog to see what I got! Bye for now! See you tomorrow!

Hockey! (WK. 2.3)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty fun day even though the weather wasn't very good and I have to go to school tomorrow:(! When I woke up I ate a banana bread belvita(a belvita is basically a soft cookie thing). Then, I hung around, now that I think about it, I said hung around a lot. We were pretty bored until lunch time when I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a slice of leftover pizza. My family then went to a local hockey game. It was the Washington Chargers vs. the Florida Panthers. I live in Mecklenburg, VA so we went to see the Chargers and cheer them on.  Luckily, the Chargers won, 3-4! It was awesome and I got popcorn after first period! After the game we went to Harris Teeter and got some food. That was kind of boring. But now here I am on my laptop waiting for our meatless lasagna to cool off so we can eat it for dinner. It is meatless because we forgot to leave the meat out of the freezer. I decided to go ahead and blog because we should be going to bed after dinner since we have school tomorrow! :( Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

Soccer and Trampolines (WK. 2.2)

Hi everyone! Today was a really fun day even though I can't believe I have to go back to school on Monday!!! I woke up and ate a croissant. Then we went to Alex's indoor 3 v. 3 soccer game. His team lost, but then with my friend Grace we went to Which Witch. I got a peanut butter and jelly sandwich  and a rice crispy treat. Next, Grace and I had our indoor 3 v. 3 soccer game. Our team lost too. :( Afterwards, our family went back home and we waited until 3 when Katherine and Grace would come so we could go to Sky Zone trampoline park. It was AWESOME! I was really excited because I finally did an aerial on the trampoline! When we were done with our time at Sky Zone we went to Menchie's and got frozen yogurt. I got cake batter with peanut butter and hot fudge. I know, boring! But I'm boring at frozen yogurt places. It was really good! Next, we had to leave Katherine and Grace and go home. I took a shower and then we had hamburgers and waffle fries for dinner! Yum! That was pretty much it for today! See you tomorrow!

Bored Day (WK 2)

Hi everyone! Today was a pretty boring day. I woke up and had a piece of cheesecake. After we went to BJ's to look at trampolines!!!! We found a pretty good deal and hopefully we can get it. Next, we went to look at cars. That only took a couple minutes. Then we went home and I had a croissant with egg in it for lunch. It was so good. That afternoon we just went outside, I scraped myself, I did some yoga, and then my mom came home. Now I am waiting for my dad because he is getting the pizza for dinner! I love pizza and am excited to eat it! After eating I will probably just hang out and then go to bed. Bye for today! See you tomorrow!

New Years 2015 (WK 1.7)

Hi everyone! Can you believe it is 2015? WOW! I had a great New Years party last night. There was pork, asparagus wrapped in bacon, risotto, chicken, escargot, fish, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, and oreo cake balls! We did sparklers, played a Vietnamese New Years game, and did fireworks. It was really fun! Now I will tell you about today. So we stayed at Katherine's house until 1:30 and we went to bed at 2:30 so I woke up at 12:30 today! When I woke up I took one bite out of a cookie and then didn't finish the rest. Next, Alex and I made a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake with a brownie base. It was for our New Year's meal later on. After, we went outside, did some gymnastics, played on the playground, and then went inside. I started coughing really badly after the cold air got in my lungs. Next, I set the table (it was like 5 by now) for our New Year's meal. This was our only meal today but surprisingly we weren't that hungry. We ate lentils, greens with pork, and rolls with ham and cheese in them. For desert we ate the cheesecake which was really good! Now I am writing this (well, actually after Alex and I made a presentation about why we should get a trampoline and watched bratayley) and tomorrow I have no idea what I am going to do.
